Elijah S. Pressman

Assistant Artistic Director

Elijah S. Pressman trained at the Lauridsen Ballet Centre, home of South Bay Ballet, and RDA Honor Company. One of the longest standing members of the company, he has performed works by Diane Lauridsen, Ron Cunningham, Kenneth Walker, William Whitener, Jon Cristofori, Robert Kelley, Daniel Baudendistal, Lorin Johnson, Kimberley Olmos, Lawrence Blake, & Robert Salas, among others. He has attended summer programs at Santa Cruz Ballet and Utah Regional Ballet, as well as the Craft of Choreography Conference on full scholarship. Elijah is also a founding member of Kenneth Walker Dance Project. Some ballets performed include Incident at Black Briar, Contongo, Coppelia, Suburban Symphony, All That Glitters, The Right to Bear Arms, Le Sylphide, Graduation Ball, Brama SolĪ˜, Miniatures, Searching for the Light, Tango Passages, Silent Movie, Fortuna Desperada, Cinderella, Ease of Euphoria, and Focus on the Middle Distance. He danced as a guest artist at the South American Ballet Competition in 2000, and performed at the 2006 International Ballet Competition.
